Hello,
thanks for using Copilot for Xcode. Currently, we will not send any information to our servers. In the future we may collect some information to improve the app, but we will always ask for your permission before doing so.
Information Collection and Use
The app needs to read and process your code to provide code completion and code generation features. The app will not collect, read, or transmit any of your personal information, user information, or application usage data to third-party services.
By default, the git-ignored files are not processed by the app. You can choose to enable the processing of git-ignored files in the app settings.
Permissions
The app requires the following permissions to provide its core features:
- Accessibility API.
- Files and Directories Access.
Third-Party Services
In order to provide the core features of the app, we need to use third-party services as service providers. You are in full control of which services to use and can choose to disable them at any time. We will not collect, read, or transmit any of your personal information, user information, or application usage data to third-party services.
The following third-party services may be used in the app:
- GitHub Copilot.
- Codeium.
- OpenAI, and other LLM providers.
Updates to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s features or changes in laws and regulations. The updated Privacy Policy will take effect within our App and will be published on this page along with the update date.
